From art to temples : Yogyakarta always has its own attraction for foreign tourists. This time, we have the opportunity to accompany a couple from Malaysia on a 4 day tour full of culture, historical and culinary experiences.
First day : Pick up at the airport and tour to Borobudur temple.

The trip begins with picking up guests at Yogyakarta airport. After meeting and greeting warmly, we went straight to one of the most iconic destination in indonesia, Borobudur temple.
The journey from the airport to Borobudur is approximately 1 hour. We exchange stories about tourism in Yogyakarta and our nature which is almost the same as their home country which is Malaysia.
Arriving at the location, guests were very impressed with the splendor of the largest buddhist temple in the word. We explain the history, philosophy and meaning of the reliefs that decorate each temple wall. Although the journey is quite long from the airport, the tiredness immediately pays off with an amazing view.
Incidentally, we can visit Borobudur temple in the las session which is at 15.30. After finishing the tour in Borobudur we headed to the hotel.
Second Day : Prambanan temple, Batik and silver crafts
On the second day, the trip continued to Prambanan temple, the largest Hindu temple complex in Indonesia. They are enjoy the beauty of the architecture and the legendary story of Toro Jonggrang. The journey continues to the silver craft center in Kotagede. Here guests see how silver jewelry is made manually with traditional techniques.

After that, I invited the guests to visit the batik production house. They are very enthusiastic to see the process of making written batik. From drawing patterns to the coloring process. In fact, they tried to draw batik themselves as a memorable experience.
From art to temples : explore Yogyakarta
Day three : Keraton, Tamansari, and culinary
The third day is filled with cultural tour in the city center. We visited the Yogyakarta Palace, the residence of the Sultan as well as the cultural center of Java. My guests get a lot of information about traditions, philosophy of life, and royal history.
Next we went to Taman Sari, which is known as the royal water park. This place has a unique architecture and a quiet atmosphere, suitable for taking pictures and enjoying the atmosphere of the past.
For lunch, I invite them to enjoy dishes at Padang Sederhana restaurant, on of the famous Padang restaurant. They really enjoy various special menus such as rending, chicken pop and curry that is rich in spices. After finishing enjoying lunch, we go back to the hotel.
