Still young, talented, and have a high desire to learn. That is what is owned by the five tourists from France who can blend Javanese gamelan into a beautiful musical rhythm. That’s why I tittle this article with the name gamelan fusion. It all started from the cooking class they took at my house. Before doing their cooking class, I invite them to shop for the necessities that we will cook at the traditional market near my house.
After finishing buying the ingredients that we want cook, then I continue to take them around my village. I show them the products produced by the residents around my village. I also told them the plants and fruits that we passed along the village tour. After finishing touring the village, we go back to my house to start cooking together.
Incidentally, they came in August 2025 where in august throughout Indonesia there were a lot of community activities to commemorate Indonesians Independence Day. Just like other villages, in my place there are also several competitions to commemorate the Independence Day of the republic Indonesia. They also want to join the celebration together with the residents in my village. And sure enough the next day they came again and we joined the villagers together.

They all participate in various kinds of competitions, like competitions that are characteristic of Independence Day throughout Indonesia. At the end of the game, they were given the honor to distribute prizes to the winners of the game. After the event is over we eat together and sing together. One of the residents offered them to play the gamelan musical instrument. By following the instructions, they can also play gamelan melodiously. The gamelan fusion that they are played as the closing of the Independence Day commemoration event in my village.
