Around 2016 our family took a road trip from Yogyakarta to Bali Island. During the trip we stopped at several tourist attractions that we passed, such as Solo City, Batu Malang City and Banyuwangi until finally the island of Bali. This time I will tell you about our tourist visit to Ulun Danu Beratan Bedugul.
Incidentally, we have relatives or family who live in Bedugul Bali, so during the holidays we can also get together with them. We stayed at a hotel located next to the Ulan Danu Beratan tourist attraction. Ulun Danu Temple is located in the water of Bratan Lake in the village of Candikuning Baturiti, Tabanan Regency. In addition to the main temple, there is also a temple complex that is used for traditional ceremonies in Bali. This temple is also a place for the implementation of the Melasti traditional ceremony, which is to purify oneself.
My children and my wife are very happy to be here, because the weather is cool and has a beautiful view. We stayed for two nights here and it still doesn’t feel long, hehehe. In addition to visiting Ulun Danu Beratan, we also visited the Bedugul botanical garden and Tamblingan lake. We also tried to pick strawberries around the hotel we stayed at.
The food here is also delicious, suitable for our tongues that come from Java. It turns out that many of the residents in Bedugul come from Java, so the taste of the cuisine is not much different. We really enjoyed the holiday here, I don’t know when all of that could happen again. Because right now my children have grown up and are now busy with school and college.
