Snorkeling is a very fun activity and my favorite activity when doing tour with some tourists. Indonesia consists of several very large islands. So there are so many places to enjoy snorkeling. I myself have done a snorkeling tour with my guests in several places in Indonesia. Starting from the Belitung Islands in Sumatra. Bali Island, Java Island and Gili Trawangan in Lombokand other places.
Of all the places I have visited, all of them are so beautiful. Various kinds of marine biota, ranging from coral reefs to various types of fish and marine plants. Makes me never bored to do again. My advice for those of you who want do a snorkeling tour in Indonesia, you should not come during the raining season. Because usually during the rainy season there is a lot of garbage that goes into the sea. That making snorkeling activities disturbed.
Most of the garbage is carried from the river and into the sea. As an activist in the field of turtle conservation, I am very sorry for this situation. But we can’t do much, just try to clean every time there is garbage that comes.
This situation also affects marine animals, because they can eat plastic waste or others.
So let’s take care of this nature as best as possible, so that it is sustainable and still beautiful. Don’t litter, clean the environment around us and give education about the importance of preserving nature. So that we can still enjoy this natural beauty.
