Borobudur Traders

This time I don’t want to talk about transportation services. But I want to tell you about my friend who works as a trader in Borobudur. I mean traders in Borobudur are souvenir sellers in the Borobudur market area. Let’s call him Arif, this father of one child is originally from Borobudur. Arif is a father figure who can be an example for his children and also inspires me. Active in working, diligent in worship, not arrogant and always grateful for the sustenance he gets.

In addition to working as a trader, he also has a hobby of mountain climbing and other nature activities, such as camping. Before being relocated to a new place, his stall was very strategic because it was at the exit. Which was most likely always passed by visitors to Borobudur temple. In addition, his stall was at the front so it was advantageous for me to see my guests who had finished visiting Borobudur temple.

The location of his stall is also close to the parking area. When I take guests to visit Borobudur temple, I always wait at his stall, coincidentally our hobbies are the same, drinking coffee. While telling stories about life and joking around.

Borobudur traders relocated to new location

As time went by, Borobudur underwent development and his stall was moved to a location that I think is a bit far away. So it is one with the parking lot and neatly arranged for all the stalls of Borobudur traders. Now traders in Borobudur have stalls and are prohibited from selling by peddling or offering directly to visitors. Even the new regulation is work, there are still agree and disagree between Borobudur traders and the management.

Because according to them, some stalls of traders are not passed at all by Borobudur visitors, so the opportunity to sell becomes less. Fortunately my friend Arif’s stall is in a strategic and comfortable location. I also always visit him when I take guests to Borobudur. Still with the same feeling, joking and drinking coffee together.

Besides that, I also always tell each of my guests to meet again at Arif’s stall when my guests finish their tour in Borobudur. So that there is an opportunity for my guests to buy arif’s merchandise. May Arif always be given health, happiness and smooth fortune. The same prayer for all readers of this article. Good luck and always be happy !!
