Merapi Sunrise Tour and Borobudur temple – is a sunrise package on mount merapi yogyakarta and visit borobudur temple in central java. The sunrise tour on merapi we use 4×4 jeep and see the sunrise from the Kali Adem hill. After watching the sunrise we head to the village on the slopes of mount merapi. To see the alien stone (a stone that looks like an alien’s face), the Hartaku museum (a house that was destroyed by the eruption of merapi). Continue to do off road on the kali kuning river. After finishing the tour on merapi we continue the journey to borobudur temple.
The journey to Borobudur Temple is approximately one hour from mount merapi passing through salak plantations and rice fields. Before visiting Borobudur we visit Mendut Temple, Buddish monastery and Pawon Temple. After that we can go directly to Borobudur Temple. Approximately two hours are needed to take a tour in Borobudur and it is better to book entrance tickets first. When the tour finish we continue the journey to the city of Yogyakarta or drop off at the hotel.
