Travel to Yogyakarta for the fourth time with family from Uk. The atmosphere of Yogyakarta that day, April 7, 2025, was so bright and shining like my very happy feeling to welcome guests from the UK. That afternoon I drove to yogyakarta airport which was about 1 hour drive from my house. I couldn’t wait to meet them, I waited at the arrival gate with great joy. They are a small family with 2 children who are 7 years old and 5 years old respectively.
Their names are Elliot and Zack, both of their parents have known me for a long time. At that time they were still dating and for the first time they also visited Yogyakarta. Nathan and Beth are my siblings with different fathers and mothers from me, hehehe just kidding. This is their fourth time coming to Yogyakarta and their visit now is so special, because now they have brought cute children. The plan is for 4 days 3 nights they will spend time with us (my family in Bantul Yogyakarta). They are staying at a homestay near my house and we have also made plans to visit tourist attractions in Yogyakarta.
Meet and Greet at the Yogyakarta airport
Finally they came out of the arrival gate at the airport and I immediately ran to them, hugs of longing and laughter accompanied us. We immediately headed to my house to have lunch and share stories. We passed the first day and on the second day we visited the Pindul cave and the pine forest in Bantul Yogyakarta. On the third day we visited the chocolate museum, because Elliot and Zack wanted to try making chocolate.
After finishing, we went home to do a ox cart tour around the village. Elliot and Zack were very happy because this was the first time for them to do a tour like this. In the afternoon after the ox cart tour, the children in my village invited Elliot and Zack to play football in the village field. The children in my village were very enthusiastic because it was their first time playing football with foreign tourists. Time passed so quickly and they had to continue their tour to other places.
